Making a 4×5 Pinhole Camera
Embrace the unexpected by exploring the beauty of pinhole photography when the technical controls are gone and one just points a simple black box at something of interest.
This workshop will result in the building of a wooden pinhole camera (shown in the image below) that produces a large format, 4″x5″ negative. Once the camera is built, we will spend the rest of the workshop learning how to use the camera including basic operation, exposure and film development options.
The required kit consists of all materials and supplies to build the camera shown in the image including one 4×5 film holder and two sheets of Kodak T-Max 400 film.
