Introduction to the Van Dyke Printing Process
Learn how to create a Van Dyke image; a silver and iron based historical photographic process known for its signature Van Dyke brown color. Participants will learn how to mix, apply, expose, develop, and process Van Dyke prints using either their own large format enlarged negatives or supplied negatives. Variations of formulas and recommended printing surfaces will also be discussed. A handout with all directions necessary to continue on your own is supplied.
