The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari with Tetra String Quartet

Prepare yourself for a musical fright–just in time for the Halloween Season! Tetra will perform an original musical score by Stephen Prutsman to the classic silent horror film, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari.

All subtitles will be in English.

“The most brilliant example of that dark and twisted film movement known as German Expressionism, The Cabinet Of Dr. Caligari is a plunge into the mind of insanity that severs all ties with the rational world. Director Robert Wiene and a team of designers crafted a nightmare realm in which light, shadow and substance are abstracted, a world a demented doctor and a carnival sleepwalker perpetrate a series of ghastly murders in a small community.”

Tetra is excited to announce our new concert series in Downtown Gilbert! During our 2016-2017 season, we will present four concerts at the community art space, Art Intersection. Join us on these Friday evenings to enjoy live chamber music, visual art and sample all that Downtown Gilbert has to offer.

We will perform in the South Gallery of Art Intersection, located on the second floor of the Heritage Court Building.
