Pinhole Photography Day at Papago Park
Join us for a pinhole photography outing to Papago Park for Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day on Sunday, April 30. This event is an opportunity to enjoy this fun location, meet other pinhole photographers, and of course, make beautiful images!
Anyone, anywhere in the world, who makes a pinhole photograph on the last Sunday in April, can scan it and upload it to Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day website, where it will become part of the annual Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day celebration’s online gallery. You can view last year’s gallery here.
Attendees will be encouraged to submit their photographs from this outing to the Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day website.
Papago Park in Tempe features stunning desert landscapes, water habitats, interesting architectural elements, and more! We will provide maps with points of interest highlighted at our meet-up spot at Ramada #11.
When you’ve run out of film for your camera, meet back up with us for a potluck BBQ! Art Intersection will provide hotdogs and hamburgers – feel free to bring something to share!
Send an email to info@artintersection.com to let us know you’re coming.
DIRECTIONS: From Galvin Parkway, turn on N Moreland Street towards the Phoenix Zoo. Turn left onto Papago Rd, and bear right around the loop. Turn right to access the parking (marked with green boxes) closest to Ramada #11 (marked with star).
