INFOCUS Studio Visit with Nick Oza

Visit the studio of photojournalist Nick Oza to view his personal body of work. Nick will show some of his photographs and discuss his experiences and inspirations during his career. As a staff photojournalist at the Arizona Republic since 2006, he covers community and national issues like immigration, gang violence, mental health and refugees. His 20+ years behind the camera have taken him to places like Iraq, India, Benin and all over North America. Oza’s work has been honored with an Emmy award, a Pulitzer Prize and numerous others. He is driven by curiosity, compassion and a deep desire to tell the stories of the people he meets and documents.
