Learn From Seasoned Travel Photographers

Do you want to do more than record your travel with a few hasty snapshots? If the answer is yes, you will not want to miss this workshop. This day of all new material presented by five TEOE photographers will give you the tools to document your adventures with meaningful, artistic images.

Spend a day learning practical techniques from five gifted photographers, each with a unique perspective to share with participants. Presenters will demonstrate their approaches to travel photography as they inspire and entertain with their knowledge and passion for their craft.

Time Travel: Using Time Lapse Photography in Your Travels

Dennis Scully, driven by the creative process and love of the image, has spent more than two decades as a professional photographer, with a concentration on advertising, commercial, film and editorial markets. His business, D Squared Productions, has developed relationships and completed projects with clients ranging from American Golf and Marriott Hotels to Fox Sports and US Airways.

Adventure Photography as a Point of View

Kerrick James has photographed the lands and cities of the American West, Mexico, and the Pacific Rim for more than 25 years, shooting adventure and destination travel features. His work has appeared in more than 200 books, travel guides and magazines.

Travel Photography: What is it and why do we do it?

Michael Matlach is a practicing photographer specializing in travel and humanitarian photojournalism. He leads photography tours to India, Vietnam, Myanmar, Bhutan, and Latin America, and has developed a true appreciation for diverse cultures. His photography and teaching reflect this passion.

Improve Your Travel Photography: Capture the Moments that tell Your Story

Peter Ensenberger served 25 years as Director of Photography for Arizona Highways, where he managed the magazine’s photography department while working as a freelance  photographer for Black Star an international photo agency. He now owns and operates Photo Tours Unlimited, leading tours to the Southwest’s most beautiful and interesting places. His book, Focus on Composing Photos, targets beginners and intermediate-level photographers.

Learning About Different Cultures through Photography

Gina Santi was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, and studied in Caracas and Washington D.C. She earned her master’s degree in Cultural Anthropology at Northern Arizona University, where she has taught Spanish since 1991. In her capacity as an educator and administrator, Gina has lived, worked, and traveled in many Spanish-speaking countries. Gina has been featured in solo and collective exhibits.
