Contemporary Adaptation: Panel Discussion with Jill Enfield, France Scully Osterman, and David Emitt Adams

Please join us for a lively conversation about the relevance of 19th century photographic processes in our contemporary art world. The discussion will also encompass subjects like editioning and collecting hand-applied photographs.

Panelists Jill Enfield, France Scully Osterman, and David Emitt Adams are all contemporary practitioners of the 19th century Wet Plate Collodion process, each with a unique artistic spin that keeps this historic process modern. Moderator Claire C. Carter, Curator of Contemporary Art at Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, will balance this discussion with the perspective of an institution devoted to contemporary art.

Panel discussion will follow a 15 minute presentation by each artist about their work process and current projects.

This event is produced in collaboration with Tilt Gallery.
