Off the Wall – Exhibition and Silent Auction
Off the Wall
Something new or unexpected presented in an unconventional or eccentric way. In this annual fund raising exhibition all wining bidders will take their purchased artwork Off the Wall.
Fund Raising to Support Community Programs
Over the past year Art Intersection presented nine public exhibitions in the North and South Galleries showing work from student, emerging, and internationally known artists. To support these programs, we work with our artist community to present the Off the Wall exhibition where all of the artwork is donated and for sale in a silent auction format.
Sales from Off the Wall keep the exhibitions in the North and South galleries free and open to the public, and support community programs such as the Emerge student photography exhibition and our artist in residence program.
During the five-week exhibition, please visit the North and South Galleries to view Off the Wall, which features the artwork of established, and emerging artists. An online gallery of the exhibition makes it easy to review the artwork.
Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to bid on your favorite artwork(s) and take it off the wall for your own collection or as a unique gift for someone special in your life.
You can bid on the artwork(s) that caught your eye throughout the exhibition, or use buy-it-now. The final silent auction bidding happens Saturday, December 6, 6 to 9pm.
Bids may be made in person, in the gallery, or by email beginning November 1, 2014. Email bids will be accepted until midnight December 5, 2014. An online gallery, viewable on November 1, will list the “Buy-It-Now” price allowing you to purchase an auction item anytime prior to the auction evening on December 6.
Final bids are at the silent auction evening on December 6 from 6-9pm.
