DESCRIPTION:Join us to hear Ryuijie speak about his work and photographic vision as part of our Friday evening lecture series in the Art Intersection galleries. \nRyuijie will have a solo exhibition of his work in Ryan Gallery from October 17 through November 28. The work on display comes from his P2 and Kanchi series. These platinum prints represent the work of a master photographer and printer and are must-see\, superb examples of prints made using the 19th century fine art platinum printing process. \nRyuijie has steadfastly pursued his own photographic vision for over thirty years\, and has acquired a reputation for his exquisite platinum/palladium prints\, in addition to his traditional black and white work. An exceptionally prolific artist\, Ryuijie’s career has been highlighted by a multitude of exhibitions. His work has appeared in View Camera\, Photovision\, Camera and Darkroom\, Black&White\, Lenswork\, and Focus magazines.
