Celebrating Photography – PhotoTapas Events at Art Intersection
Join us for a day of PhotoTapas where we celebrate the art of photography. The schedule includes lectures and demos about digital negatives, platinum printing, printing out paper, conservation of prints, and a fun time with instant film and a pinhole camera. In the late afternoon, we will serve tapas and sangria, and enjoy a print sharing event in our new gallery space. Dick Arentz will then lead a gallery talk through the Eternal Platinum exhibition in the upstairs galleries.

Here is a link to the last PhotoTapas at Art Intersection.
Traditional Spanish tapas are small plates of delectable, savory edibles shared along with lively conversation among friends and colleagues in a casual, convivial setting. The idea behind PhotoTapas is to create a similar environment with photography as the focal point. Just as those who sample a variety of traditional tapas often discover intriguing and piquant pleasures for the palate, participants in PhotoTapas have the opportunity to come together and explore the rich artistic “flavors” of our Arizona photographic community.
Art Intersection along with a number of other organizations is having events during the month of February to celebrate the art of photography. Here are other PhotoTapas venues.
