I’m a nature photographer. For me, nature photography is about capturing pure natural moments in an artistic form. I work with standard and medium telephoto prime lenses on digital cameras. My photography happens in the field rather than behind a computer monitor… Moment, mood, and light. I like to keep things simple and let nature do the talking. I love to capture fleeting moments of wonderous light during storms or before sunset. I’m currently working exclusively at 50mm.
I’m an Arizona native. I grew up in small rural areas of northern Arizona and now live in Gilbert. I’ve had a camera in my hands since I was about twelve but it wasn’t until my mid-thirties that I started taking photography more seriously. I learned everything I know from books and online tutorials. I’m still learning to this day. I’m honored to have published photos in Arizona Highways. Thank you for your interest.
