Art Intersection provides state-of-the-art photographic facilities for professional and community use. Our facilities include a digital lab, a group darkroom, a private film development room, an alternative process darkroom, and a lighting studio.
Individuals wishing to use our darkrooms, digital lab, or studio must schedule a 1-on-1 tutorial before using any of the areas or equipment. If you have taken a class or workshop at Art Intersection within the area in which you will be working, or if you have sufficient experience in the process to work confidently and safely on your own, we can waive the tutorial session. Membership is not required to rent the lab space, though members receive a discounted hourly rate. Hourly rates and block rates apply to all areas of the Photographic Arts Lab unless otherwise stated. Basic chemistry is included in the rental rate for the B&W Developing and Printing darkrooms, and our ink cost per print in the Digital Lab is $0.04/in².
Unless there is a conflicting event, all areas of the lab are available for rent during our regular business hours.

Hourly Rates
Minimum of 1 hour, then prorated each 15 minutes
Public, $12/hour
Art Intersection Members, $8/hour
Lighting Studio Rental
$100/4 hour minimum (including set-up and tear-down)
$25 each additional hour
