Marching to the Freedom Dream – Dan Budnik
This exhibit, “Marching To The Freedom Dream,” presents photojournalist Dan Budnik’s significant body of work documenting three seminal marches of the civil rights movement. The exhibit coincides with the 50th anniversary of the 1965 Selma-Montgomery March and the Voting Rights Act.
Dan Budnik, a photojournalist, has documented social, political and cultural change in the world for past 55 years. He was at the heart of the civil rights movement, the center of the New York school of Abstract Expressionists, and has been a fervent advocate for indigenous people.
Dan will be in the gallery to sign his book during the opening and he will give a gallery talk on February 21 during Art Intersection’s PhotoTapas event.
