Spend 4 mornings with your favorite 6-8 year old creating fun and useful craft projects with our resident Do It Yourself crafter, Josie Cirincione. You'll be creating a finished project each day that your little one can wear, hang in his/her room or give as a gift to someone special.
Included in this 4 session class will be instruction on how to use a Cuttlebug, rubber stamping techniques, Shrinky Dink materials and much more!

Students in this class will explore art in new ways to create paintings that are inspired by the games and playful activities. Kelly Smith, a Licensed Social Worker and Life Coach, will encourage students to use their amazing imaginations and the process of art to learn new ways to cope with the stress of everyday life while providing a safe, positive social and emotional atmosphere for all the students to learn new life skills.

Kelly Smith
Students will have fun learning new ways of expressing themselves through art journaling, a process of incorporating words, images, colors and layers onto the blank page. They will explore new art techniques in their journals by combining visual and written word collage with mixed media such as paint, markers, water-soluble crayons and watercolor pencils.
This class will be guided by Kelly Smith, a Licensed Social Worker and Life Coach, who uses art in the process of helping kids learn how to cope with the stress of everyday life. The class will be structured to provide a safe, positive social and emotional atmosphere for all the students to learn new life skills.

Fun with Photography

Explore the many ways to make a picture, including photograms, collage, macro photography and more with arts educator and photographer, Laura Motush.
Students will have hands on experiences with photography resulting in a mini portfolio of completed images.

Make the coolest pictures with only a shoebox and coke can! Learn the basics of photography including exposure and printing with arts educator and photographer, Laura Motush. Students will get an opportunity to go into the darkroom to create unique prints.

All About Me: Discovering Self-Portraiture
Ages 6-8

Students will represent their own identity and appearance in a variety of techniques including drawing, painting and collage. They will learn what a portrait is with educator and artist, Sarah Rowland and connect favorite words and favorite objects into their final portrait.

Silk-screening for Paper and T-Shirts
Ages 9-11
August 1-4, 1-4pm (3 hours per day)
$77 per child + $15 materials fee
Sarah Rowland
Students will learn how to create original designs using popular silk screening techniques with educator and artist, Sarah Rowland.
Through layering ink and collage students will create complex images and learn how to make posters and t-shirts using improvisational screen-printing methods that will allow them to make multiples of their own unique designs.
